Our design service was created to support homeowners every step of the way. From measurements and design inspiration to delivery and installation support.

Work with our dedicated, expertly-trained design team to create a functional and beautiful space— tailored to your lifestlye and unique vision.

This $3,000 payment is a deposit to get your project started and reserve your place in our design schedule. This amount is credited toward your order and is not an additional service charge.

Add-on services are available to perfectly meet your needs. We offer a range of enhancements including additional revision rounds and cabinetry design plans for any room of your home. Our add-on services can be requested through your project lead.

6 Month Lead Time

Our custom cabinetry projects typically take around 6 months from initial design to delivery.

Design + Finalize: 8–12 weeks

This includes design collaboration, revisions, and approvals. Timelines can be shorter depending on the complexity of the project and how quickly decisions are made.

Production + delivery: 14–18 weeks

Once your design is finalized, we begin crafting your cabinetry to order. Your cabinetry will arrive fully-assembled via complimentary delivery.

Homeowner FAQs

Our team is fully equipped to get you on your way to a truly amazing dream kitchen. We are experienced kitchen design professionals with a history of working with clients remotely — and our job is to deliver you a beautiful, functional kitchen design and cabinetry to complete it. But we leave the rest to you! Our design process includes full finish selection like paint, hardware, countertops, flooring and lighting, but we leave the final purchasing decisions to our clients. Interior designers create a unique design experience and execute projects in their own signature styles. They also provide services like procurement, receiving, warehousing, accessory styling, project planning and more. When working directly with Isla Porter, your initial design fee is non-refundable and covers the cost of our professionally executed designs. After you finalize your floor plan, we require a deposit of 10% of your estimate to move into the color rendering phase. To finalize your order, we require 50% of the total balance to be paid to go into production. Your remaining balance can be paid anytime prior to scheduling a delivery in your home. We accept design deposits via all major credit cards and ACH. Cabinetry order deposits must be made via wire or ACH transfer due to payment size.

While we don’t offer in-house financing at this time, there are plenty of flexible ways to fund a home renovation! We recommend speaking with your local bank or lender to explore options that work best for you. To make things easier on our end, we structure payments in manageable milestones: starting with a deposit, followed by 2–3 scheduled payments throughout the process. It’s our way of helping you pace your investment as your dream kitchen comes to life.
