Our Story 

While working together in the retail furniture space—and navigating our own home renovations—we quickly realized that the part of the home people care about most, the kitchen, lacked the support and service it deserved. We dove deep into the cabinetry industry and uncovered the root of the problem: the overwhelming sameness of gray shaker kitchens, driven by a lack of innovation and experimentation in the product space of cabinetry. So, we left our corporate careers behind to bring a female perspective to a traditionally male-dominated manufacturing industry. Along the way, we met countless interior designers frustrated by the challenge of sourcing cabinetry—spending far too much time juggling multiple vendors, suppliers, and millworkers just to realize their vision. Time that could be spent designing, creating, and innovating. As creatives ourselves, we understand how the right products and services can turn inspiration into livable luxury. We founded Isla Porter to make that possible—streamlining the renovation process and putting thoughtful, design-forward cabinetry at the center of every space. We hope to see your kitchen soon.
